As part of our expansion plans for 2019, we are looking for a recent graduate (0-5 years’ experience) to join our Technology and Software Engineering department in Madrid.
Job description:
The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team working in a variety of R&D and consulting projects.
His/her main responsibilities will include:
- develop and test methods, algorithms and tools for the integration, management, characterisation, analysis and visualisation of data originated from multiple distributed sources;
- contribute to all stages of the software life-cycle: requirements management, design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance;
- contribute to the continuous improvement of software engineering processes and methodologies;
- contribute to the maintenance and development of Nommon computing infrastructure;
- contribute to the definition of innovative products, services, and business models.
Qualifications and skills:
Required:
- Strong algorithmic, programming and computational problem solving skills.
- Good understanding of software engineering processes, procedures, methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, C/C++.
- Excellent English and Spanish oral and written communication skills.
Nice to have, but not indispensable:
- Experience/knowledge in relational and No-SQL databases and data warehousing.
- Experience/knowledge in application server administration, computing environments, storage and networking.
