ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a full-stack web developer to join an agile development team in charge of the design, implementation, testing, roll-out and support of business applications based on a modern LAMP stack.
Our offices are in Madrid; possibility of teleworking depending on the project.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Software development
- Design, development, testing and maintenance of individual modules of a web application in a LAMP environment, and web services integrations with other technologies.
Customer support
- Support employees and customers who use the application developed by the team.
Self development
- Maintain and develop own knowledge of our company, its applications, development frameworks, techniques and policies, and related technologies for web application development such as HTML5 or JavaScript.
REQUIREMENTS
Required knowledge
- Minimum 2 years of experience required in developing business applications.
- Knowledge of PHP 7 and experience with any framework for the development of business applications.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and associated technologies.
Bonus knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of REST web services and associated technologies.
- Knowledge of Python.
- Knowledge of functional programming languages such as Lisp, Clojure, Haskell or Scala.
- Knowledge of GNU/Linux as a power user or developer.
Required languages
- English: High level written and spoken (C1 or better desired; B2 is acceptable provided the recruit is deemed suitable for meetings during the interview).
- Spanish: B1 or better.
